Establishing Residential Service

To start water service with Texas Water Company, please first determine whether your home is:

 An Existing Home with a Water Connection or New Construction

Application Turnaround Times

We’re committed to processing your application as quickly as possible:

Submission Time Processing Time
Before 3:00 PM (Mon–Thurs) Service scheduled for next business day
After 3:00 PM Service scheduled within two business days


A complete application
 must include all required documents, such as:

  •  Customer Service Inspection certificate (if applicable)
  •   Wastewater service agreement (if applicable)

Subdivisions That Require Additional Applications

If you live in one of the subdivisions listed below, you must complete an additional wastewater service application before water service can begin.

Establishing New Water Service (No Existing Connection)

In certain areas, a New Service Inquiry may be required to determine the location of the main transmission line before service can be established.

Required Forms & Documents

  1. Service Application & Agreement
    Submit to: newservice@txwaterco.com

  2. Water Service Sizer Questionnaire
    This form helps us calculate your expected water usage. Please complete all fields for accurate sizing.

  3. Customer Service Inspection (CSI) Agreement
    Be sure to include your estimated move-in date in the “CSI Due Date” field.

Once all documents are received, we will contact you with cost information, account number, and payment instructions.
