At Texas Water Company (TWC), we recognize the importance of keeping our customers, residents, and stakeholders informed as our region continues to grow and evolve. Residents across our service areas have important questions regarding water supply, infrastructure, growth and regional development, and more. As discussions around these topics continue, we believe it is important to provide a reliable source for accurate information and ongoing updates. That is why we are launching The Water Source, a recurring update focused on water operations, infrastructure, regional planning, and other topics impacting the communities we serve.

We are proud to share an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to safe, reliable service: on May 7, 2026, our Texas Water team marked one full year without an OSHA recordable incident. This achievement reflects the care, discipline, and accountability our employees bring to their work every day, and it reinforces the standards our customers expect from us.

What is “One Water”? One Water is a transformative mindset that believes all water has value. This approach strengthens the resiliency of our water supply by managing all water holistically – ground water, storm water, surface water, reclaim water, and more.

The Park Shores Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Filter Replacement Project is well underway, marking a significant step toward improving water quality and reliability for our customers. This project began in September 2025 and represents the second phase of a three-part upgrade to the plant’s filtration system.

We want to start by thanking you for your feedback. We have taken a moment to listen to your concerns and share your commitment to water quality. We are dedicated to addressing the recent water discoloration issue and ensuring the highest standards of water quality. While the appearance of the water may be unsettling, we want to emphasize that the water remains safe to drink and meets all primary health-related standards set by the EPA and TCEQ.

Water Company (TWC) believes once customers experience the benefits of Smart Meters, also known as Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI), they will welcome all this system has to offer.

Canyon Lake, Texas – March 19, 2025 – Texas Water Company (TWC) is pleased to announce that Bryan Raisor has joined the company as Vice President of Operations. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the water and wastewater utility industry, Raisor brings extensive expertise in operational planning, environmental quality, and business process improvement – critical skills as TWC continues to focus on service to customers and increase its reliability and resiliency by infrastructure investments in its service areas.

Due to Texas experiencing prolonged severe drought alongside rapid population growth, Texas Water Company has taken careful consideration regarding water service to its existing customers while strategically planning for future growth. The company is taking proactive steps to ensure long-term sustainability and regulatory compliance, even as current conditions necessitate a temporary pause on new service commitments.
