With summer temperatures continuing to climb across Central Texas, outdoor water use typically reaches its highest levels of the year. From landscape irrigation to topping off swimming pools, seasonal water demands can increase significantly during periods of prolonged heat. In this edition, we're answering some common summer water use questions and providing updates on two major infrastructure projects currently under construction.

Recent rainfall has brought welcome relief across the region and generated many questions about Canyon Lake, drought stages and what changing lake conditions mean for water supplies. One of the most common questions we receive from customers is how to identify their Public Water System (PWS), locate their PWSID, or determine which neighborhoods are served by a specific system.
