Eric W. Thornberg,
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Thornburg is a recognized leader and veteran in the water utility industry. He served as the President & Chief Executive Officer of Connecticut Water Service, Inc. from 2007 to 2017 before joining SJW Group in November 2017. Mr. Thornburg also served as President of Missouri‐ American Water, a subsidiary of American Water Works Corporation from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, he served as Central Region Vice President‐ External Affairs fo American Water Works Corporation.
James P. Lynch
Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Group•Mr. Lynch has served as SJW Group Chief Financial Officer since October 2010. He is also CFO and Treasurer of San Jose Water Company, SJW Land Company, SJWTX Inc., and Texas Water Alliance Limited. Prior to joining the corporation, Mr. Lynch was an Audit Partner with KPMG LLP. for 26 years. Mr. Lynch is a certified public accountant.
Andrew Gere
President and Chief Operating Officer, SJW
Mr. Gere has served as SJWC President and Chief Operating Officer since March 2016 and as Chief Operating Officer since April 2015. Mr. Gere was Vice President of Operations from 2013 to April 2015, Chief of Operations from 2008 to 2013, Director of Maintenance from 2006 to 2008, Director of Operations and Water Quality from 2005 to 2006, and Manager of Operations and Water Quality from 2003 to 2005.
